Oct 19, 2020 · After completing his mission, Superman returned to the DCU to discover Darkseid had conquered Earth and apparently killed Batman after the Dark Knight shot him with the magic bullet. After defeating Darkseid and a resurgent Mandrakk, Superman used the Legion's Miracle Machine to wish for a happy ending, effectively restoring reality.
