The ending screen shouldn't be taken as literal. Golden Freddy's lights going out doesn't mean Golden Freddy was fully freed, just that one of Golden Freddy's souls was freed, or it most likely could be a retcon. Molten Freddy is highly eccentric. He appears to share the same demeanor of Funtime Freddy, but a little more twisted and less sane compared to the other animatronics in the game. He is shown to still retain his energetic persona even when killing the player with intention. As with Funtime Freddy, his voice tends to glitch while he is speaking.
Despite the fanbase identifying his design with names like "Classic Golden Freddy" and "Withered Golden Freddy", the actual Golden Freddy is always depicted as one character, regardless of design. This isn't Scott retconning the FNaF 1 design in favor of the FNaF 2 one; the original design still appears during Ultimate Custom Night's final cutscene, meaning it's still relevant.
