  5. I remember Man of Steel being talked about as a game changer when it came out, and I agree that it was. There wasn't anything quite like it from Hans Zimmer or anyone else up to that point. It was loud and bombastic yes, but also deceptively simple. It's heroic, mysterious, and in my opinion, perfectly captures the tonality of Superman's flight.
