  4. Sep 23, 2020 · Mr Heckles was played by Larry Hankin. He was seen only a few times in the show the episode where he was killed was quite emotional for the die-hard fans. As Monica and Rachel's neighbour, his character was quite weird, funny and bizarre. And bizarre is also the story behind his axing from the show. Mr Heckles dies of heart-attack in the show.
