Sep 19, 2021 · After Apple’s “Ted Lasso” broke records as the most nominated freshman comedy in Emmy Award history, tonight the beloved series landed four Emmy Awards, earning prizes for Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Supporting Actress in A Comedy Series.
For its first season, Ted Lasso was nominated for 20 Primetime Emmy Awards, winning seven including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Sudeikis. In total, the show has been nominated for 61 Primetime Emmy Awards in its run.
