Luckily for Tony and Paulie, Larry told the authorities that Tony's close friend, Jackie Aprile, killed Willie Overall.

Eventually, though, Larry told the FBI that Willie had been murdered by Giacomo "Jackie" Aprile Sr. and they returned to New Jersey safe and sound. Willie is played by Herbert Rogers. It’s possible that he was a relative of Leon Overall, a young gangbanger that was killed by Harold McBrayer in 1967.

May 25, 2021 · The bookie Willie Overall was the person through whom Tony "made his bones" (earned his first kill). As revealed in Season 6's "Remember When," Tony was only 22 at the time he killed Overall. A flashback scene showed Overall pleading for his life before Tony shot him (only Tony's hands were shown). He then buried the bookie's body in the ground.
