One cat liked to watch Tom & Jerry, so your comments about cats liking blue and green colours would seem to be correct in this case, as this particular cartoon had mostly blue and green – Jerry was blue. I’ve had about 8 cats all through the years.
I have one cat that enjoys aquariums, one that does love the birds and the other one loves the cartoon gumball. I have caught them watching tv for certain things so I think it’s entertaining for them, also the fact that they all have their certain preferences.

I have a friend who had a German Shepard, and a couple cats, but one cat watched tv, and seemed to understand some context. One day there's a German Shepard on tv, and the cat looked a little harder, then looked over her shoulder AT THE GERMAN SHEPARD, then back to the TV, as is wondering how her buddy was 2 places at once, and knowing it wasn't possible!
