Aug 22, 2024 · I appreciate I need the ethernet connection for using the guide, setting recordings, streaming and watching via apps. However when I just want to watch live TV, such as BBC News Channel, I prefer to have my router turned off (I'm old school and turn things off when not needed!).

Virgin doesn't activate or charge you until their modem is active. Nope. Virgin offers tv via an app. It's pretty basic but it does. Virgin offers tv too. All anyone needs is an internet connection. You can sign up for an IPTV service and keep virgin. I pay $22 for 14,000 channels. If you’re interested, DM me.
