The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has compiled these frequently asked questions (FAQs) to help you better understand each program stream and the MPNP in general. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list and the entire website should be reviewed before applying to the MPNP.
All applicants who receive a LAA must submit their complete applications to the MPNP, including all required supporting documents, within 60 days of receiving their LAA. Applicants must follow the MPNP document checklist included in the Online Application Tool to ensure all required documents are included.
You must have a medical exam before you come to Canada. Your family members must also have one, even if they’re not coming with you. We won’t accept your application if your health.
Sep 25, 2023 · All applicants must complete the MPNP Self-assessment Worksheet (except for those currently working in Manitoba) to determine their points for each of the five factors. If your application is successful, you will receive a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) from the MPNP.
Sep 23, 2022 · You now need to apply online. As of September 23, 2022, it is now mandatory to apply online. If you can’t apply online, and require accommodations, including for a disability, you can ask for the application in another format (paper, braille or large print).
Do I need a job offer to apply for the MPNP? While a job offer may enhance your application, it's not always required. Some streams, such as the Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream, may require a job offer, but others, like the International Education Stream, do not necessarily need one.
