I'd read that mob spawning work closer to how it works in Java since the Nether update. So I built this one in my survival world, only I built it 55 blocks in the air so that I wouldn't have to deal with mobs spawning on the ground and eating up the mob cap. Even in Hard mode though, it barely spawns anything.
