For example, defeating a Sea Beast (found in the Second and Third Sea) will give anywhere from $60,000 to $250,000. This is a lot, and the enemy itself is quite strong, but the reward for defeating one is quite satisfying.

quest and chess are the most consistent and sea beast give the most money. If you're new to 3rd sea then just server hop the stone boss there. He gives 20k and there are 4 gold chests and 1 diamond chest behind a mountain there. If you take the common chests as well you can get up to 40-60k or 120k with 2x money.
For quick money, farm the bosses. The 3 at the prison gives $31,000 if successful Vice Admiral gives $15,000 and respawns in 7 mins. Yeti Gives $10,000 and respawns in 5 mins. Honestly, just circle the sea and farm the bosses. After an hour and a half you will have enough (~$140,000 or so per circle).
