    Veterans’ Tax Credit – Veterans can receive $50 ($51-$500 upon adoption by the municipality) subtracted from the taxes that are due on their residential property, as long as it is their primary residence.     The New Hampshire Veterans Home is located in Tilton and has a 250-bed facility for honorably discharged veterans who have served at least 90 days in the US military during a time of war. They will also need to be New Hampshire residents for at least one year before they apply.

    Veterans Guaranteed Reemployment

    Any county, town, city, precinct, school board, or other political subdivision of the state shall re-employ a veteran of the military who has been placed on inactive status or been given anything other than a dishonorable discharge, within 90 days after being made inactive or discharged.
