"A fishing ban exists on Penarth Pier during the summer months of June, July and August only,” said Miles Punter, head of visible services at the local authority.

  3. Sep 20, 2015 · If you fish the beach to right of pier, the first bit is ok on small tide but on the bigger once you have to get up onto the prom before HW. From the end of the prom you have the slipway which can be fished on all tides. Then for around 200m it ok then there's a bit that the tide will come up to on HW. Not much LW fishing as it goes off level.
