Every time you go to the store where you got the rain check, make sure to scan the shelves and see if they have refilled their stock of the item you were wanting to purchase.
Do Zellers rainchecks have an expiry date? It was my understanding that they do not have an expiry date and can be used at any Zellers store. I read a post on this blog that mentioned that they have a 2 year shelf life. Any additional info? I tried to use a raincheck (2 months old) along with coupons for Dove soap, but was rejected.

Check the shelves for your item each time you are at the store to see if the items have been re-stocked. If the item is not re-stocked by the time your rain check is about to expire, you can always ask for a new rain check.

If something is out of stock (on sale in a flyer) you can ask the store to give you a raincheck so you can come back and purchase it when it's in stock.
I have a rain check from WalMart and all it says is they will call me when the item is in stock again, it does not say when the rain check expires. Anyone know the expiry date on a WalMart rain check? I think I read on here that Zellers rain checks are valid for two years.
