Take my upvote. I used to really like Morrison -- big Doom Patrol/Animal Man fan here. But Final Crisis didn't even attempt to make sense, and it failed at the basic task of telling a story. I swear you could move pages around and it wouldn't make any difference. To me it feels like contempt for the audience.
There's always more to understand, but Final Crisis gives you everything you need to "make sense" of Final Crisis on the page. -- I'm going to dig in to one example from issue 6. Let's say you see a brutish tiger-man threatening to "SMASH OUT THE BRAINS!" of a smartly-dressed, well-spoken Tiger Man.
