May 18, 2009 · My aunt has a '93 F-150 and the AC is amazing and it is still R-12. Converting to 134 is also an expensive process because you also have to flush the system and change the oil. A gallon of flush is like $70 and you have to take the entire system apart to do it. The Freeze12 can just be charged into the system with no changes at all.
Jan 28, 2022 · For 1941 Cadillac and Chrysler Crown Imperial listed air conditioning as optional, the Cadillac system was also installed by Bishop and Babcock. There are doubts whether any pre-war Crown Imperials had an air conditioning system installed, except for prototypes and perhaps company executive limousines.
Feb 16, 2022 · The 1957 and 1958 Eldorado Brougham models has standard A/C. 1957 was the first year for the A/C to be installed in the engine compartment, eliminating the exterior intake vents on regular models. Only the Serie 75 continued with the exterior intake vents due to the system’s design for this Serie.

Jun 13, 2020 · The 1955 Studebaker President was available with A/C, at least one has shown up at SDC International meet over the years. Cadillac advertised an available A/C unit in 1941. Its a little disappointing the article ignores the independents early air conditioning availability. Not too surprising, though.
When the air conditioner in your 2018 Cadillac XT5 starts blowing hot air, you likely have a freon leak. Recharging the freon in your AC system is an inexpensive and easy first step to restoring the cooling capacity of your A/C system. Most refrigerants include a leak sealer that will seal small leaks in addition to filling the R134a freon.
Press to turn AC on and off; the button will light up to show it is active. Additionally, the AC button will automatically light up when Auto Climate Control is active. This doesn’t necessarily mean the AC is on — it just means it’s available for the system to automatically turn it on if it’s needed.
