Just tried the CX-78 gamepad. I feel like this controller kinda represents something about Atari at the time... that they couldn't seem to do anything right. The controller is decent, but the face buttons are too far apart, so you can't press them both at the same time with your thumb like you would playing Super Mario on the NES.

Maria DMA timing has been improved further, with the addition of accurate DMA hole penalties.
