The weapons code was bugged in several instances, and it is probably because it was early in Chapter 1. Because of when the Guided Missile Launcher was released you could look at it similar to the Zapatron, so it was a weapon released way to early. The Zapatron and Guided Missile Launcher would fit a season more like this one with alien technology.
