Box office. $44.9 million [ 3 ] Child's Play is a 2019 horror film directed by Lars Klevberg from a screenplay written by Tyler Burton Smith. Serving both as a remake of the 1988 eponymous film and a reboot of the Child's Play franchise, the film stars Aubrey Plaza, Gabriel Bateman, Brian Tyree Henry, and Mark Hamill as the voice of Chucky.
Chucky was "betrayed" and killed by Andy, so he'll probably fully commit to kill him once he inevitably comes back. Maybe he'll feel actually angry this time, and curse a lot more. And he'll probably return in a newer Buddi body with more realistic expressions and movements.
