Not true. Amex is alot less accepted but useable in all hotels and most restaurants, plus Norgesgruppens grocery stores like Meny and Kiwi. Also most Coop stores also accept Amex. The places where you typically can’t use it is in hairdressers, smaller convenience stores, doctors, dentists.
