  2. It depends on your rank. Some ranks require only battles (doesn’t matter if you win or lose,) some require only 1 win, and above a certain level ranking up requires more than 5 wins. Look at the chart in the top comment for how many battles or wins you need.

  3. If you hit rank 20 at over 2k mmr, you won't immediately go from 19 to Ace. You have to play a set at 20 first.

  4. Ranks 1-5 don't require any wins, ranks 6-10 only require 1 win per set. So if you win more than necessary, you're just raising your Elo and making subsequent sets harder. Also if you want to tank a few before the 5 rare candy rank.
