Feb 25, 2012 · If I can't convert my present 10 to a 13, which it sounds like I can't, and if the trans has to come out to fix the high to low issue then, yes, I would like to put in a 13 speed at that time. Also discovered loose starter bolts.
Feb 21, 2012 · If it is a direct drive 10 speed, then you would hardly be able to use the gears above 11 (direct drive) on the 13. The top hole on a 13, and say 1500 rpm, would have you bumping up against well into the 90-100 mph range with 2.64 rears, depending on the tire size.

Oct 31, 2015 · I have a P-pumped 24v with twins, and I haul heavy loads regularly, so I wanted to put a 10 speed in. I got the Road Ranger, oil cooler and driveshaft from a local junk yard. The transmission is rated for 1,400ft/lbs, so it should hold up to the abuse.
