It is very obvious from scripture that the Holy Spirit will speak through us and to us to accomplish the works of God on this earth. When we are called to give a testimony, Jesus said not to worry, “For it is not you that speak, but the Spirit of God which speaks in you.” (Matthew 10:20)

Jan 4, 2022 · God does speak to people today. First, God speaks to us through His Word (2 Timothy 3:16–17). Isaiah 55:11 tells us, “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”
God took time to speak to people all throughout the Bible. He spoke to Abraham to tell him that he would be the father of many nations. He spoke to Noah to tell him to build an ark to save the world. He spoke to Mary to tell her that she would be the mother of Jesus. He spoke to many people all throughout the Bible.
God truly is speaking all the time, but most people are either missing or not understanding what is being said to them. I base everything I am sharing with you on Ephesians 1:17: “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better.”
