Oct 23, 2024 · For general use Google Maps works just fine here in Thailand for 99% of travelers coming here. Hotels, eateries, parks, ferries, etc are all easy to find your way to. My wife loves the voice directions, myself I prefer to simply use the map the old fashion way.

In general google maps are OK. Some small roads in Thailand do not have signs at all and other roads may change name half way along. The way that buildings are numbered is not the same as in western countries so number 50 is not necessarily next to number 48.
