Harry and Ginny have found relative domestic bliss following the trauma of their teen years. They have three children: James Sirius, Albus Severus, and Lily Luna. When Harry's not busy apologizing to Albus Severus for giving him the worst name of all time, he has a busy career. Harry fulfilled his dream of becoming an Auror and eventually rose to t...
Hermione and Ron have also enjoyed romantic happiness (in spite of some naysaying) and have two children, Rose and Hugo. Ron joined Harry as an Auror at the Ministry of Magic, where they "revolutionized" the department. After only two years, Ron left the Ministry to comanage the wizarding joke emporium Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, alongside his brothe...
After changing allegiances at the last minute, the entire Malfoy clan avoided imprisonment in Azkaban following the Battle of Hogwarts in 1998. Draco married Astoria Greengrass, and together, they raised their son Scorpius to have more tolerant views. Details about Draco's career remain fuzzy—he pretty much seems to be a pureblood trust-fund baby l...
After his stealth fast track to the title of Hogwarts' sexiest man alive (see: every recent photo of Matthew Lewis), Neville ultimately returned to school. Following a brief stint as an Auror, Harry's loyal friend returned to Hogwarts as a Herbology professor, where he became one of the school's most beloved teachers. He married Hannah Abbott from ...
Luna indulged her love of rare (and possibly imaginary) magical creatures by becoming a magizoologist (magical naturalist). It's fitting, then, that she married Rolf Scamander, grandson of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them author Newt Scamander. They have twin sons, Lorcan and Lysander. Most likely, they spend their spare time hunting for Cru...
Goyle's occupation and whereabouts are unknown (though he's undoubtedly still mourning his bromance with Vincent Crabbe). We kind of hope his present-day life is something like that of the actor who portrayed him in the films, as Joshua Herdman became an amateur MMA cage fighter. Malfoy did always rely on Goyle for his muscle more than his brains.
Harry's first crush survived the Battle of Hogwarts and then married a Muggle…which, honestly, is just such a Cho Chang thing to do.
TBD. Brown was ravaged by Fenrir Greyback during the Battle of Hogwarts, but was later seen "feebly stirring," a hopeful phrasing that has caused heated debate among fans.
Harry's first adult friend and confidante is still living and working on the grounds at Hogwarts. Despite a brief romance with Madame Maxime, he never married because she was too "sophisticated" for them to be a good long-term match. Harsh, Madame M, harsh.
Survived, but whereabouts unknown. Rumor has it he went to law school in the States where he learned how to get away with murder. (But really, J.K., where is he? Is he a manager for West Ham now? What's the deal?)

- Hermione Granger. The brightest witch of her age! Hermione Granger has such an arc over the course of the eight Harry Potter films. She comes to Hogwarts ready to put her head down and get to work, but quickly adapts to a world that sometimes requires more action than study.
- Minerva McGonagall. My only complaint about Minerva McGonagall, the source of tough love for generations of budding wizards and witches, is that she has zero personal life.
- Molly Weasley. Molly Weasley is a straight-up queen. She runs a tight ship at the Burrow, but she instantly opens her heart to her son's orphaned friend.
- Luna Lovegood. It takes a big personality to be known as the "weird girl" in a school full of witches and wizards. Luna Lovegood is the poster child for being yourself and knowing that the people who really matter will have no trouble seeing your value.
While Harry was the central hero, he was undoubtedly supported by a diverse cast of strong women. As all good things eventually conclude, including the Harry Potter series, the talented actresses who brought these characters to life embarked on various paths.
- Kelsie Gibson
- Daniel Radcliffe. Radcliffe landed the coveted role of Harry Potter, a young wizard who battles a dark wizard named Voldemort. Since the Harry Potter films, Radcliffe has tried on many different hats as an actor, including starring in the Broadway musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,
- Emma Watson. Watson played the intelligent Hermione Granger, a close friend of Harry's and star student at Hogwarts. Watson has had an impressive acting career since playing Hermione, starring in countless blockbuster films like The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Bling Ring, the live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast and the 2019 remake of Little Women.
- Rupert Grint. Grint is well-known for playing Ron Weasley, the best friend of Harry, and Hermione's eventual husband in the series. Grint has had steady work since wrapping the Harry Potter films, appearing in several indie films including Into the White, the Macbeth adaptation Enemy of Man and Moonwalkers.
- Tom Felton. Felton played the bratty Draco Malfoy in the series. The character often acts as the rival to Harry given their different upbringings and opposing Hogwarts houses that are often pitted against each other.
