The resurrected body of Jesus is not a normal human body, it is a glorified body. Jesus was able to enter locked rooms (Jn. 20:19), disappear from sight (Lk. 24:31), appear in a “different form” (Mk. 16:12), and ascend into the sky (Acts 1:9).
Most believe that Jesus is still in His glorified body because it is inferred in several Scriptures. First, while Jesus was clearly in a body during His 40 days (with His crucifixion scars: Jn 20:20,27, Lk 24:39-40), it was different from the body He had before His resurrection.

What happened to the physical body of Jesus Christ after He ascended into heaven? Are we to believe that He physically and spiritually ascended into heaven?
Death is something that none of us really understands until it happens. Our hearts and brains have stopped functioning, and our physical bodies no longer sense the world around us. Our spirit has departed and our bodies are left. What happens next is too late to change. It is either good or bad. Some will end up in heaven and others in hell.
Every man and woman will have a new body some day in the future. Some day God will give us transformed bodies. These new bodies will join our spirits. The apostle Paul tells us this in the following passage. What a wonderful future for those who are Christians! We will have fun in the earthly kingdom and in heaven. Come quickly, Lord Jesus!
Most people understand that the Scriptures teach that the body in which Jesus was crucified was the same body that came out of the grave. But regarding the body in which He now dwells, was that changed or transformed in His ascension into heaven? If so, how do we know from scripture?
Clearly, Jesus didn't have a human body prior to the incarnation. But let's speculate a little. What if Jesus had a body before his incarnation? Well then, what happened to it? Did he have one body and then just throw it into a trash can and take another one at the incarnation?
