His body is different, however; earthly human flesh is perishable, but heavenly bodies are imperishable (1 Corinthians 15:50). Jesus has a physical body, with a difference. What happened to the physical body of Jesus Christ after He ascended into heaven? Are we to believe that He physically and spiritually ascended into heaven?
Death is something that none of us really understands until it happens. Our hearts and brains have stopped functioning, and our physical bodies no longer sense the world around us. Our spirit has departed and our bodies are left. What happens next is too late to change. It is either good or bad. Some will end up in heaven and others in hell.
Every man and woman will have a new body some day in the future. Some day God will give us transformed bodies. These new bodies will join our spirits. The apostle Paul tells us this in the following passage. What a wonderful future for those who are Christians! We will have fun in the earthly kingdom and in heaven. Come quickly, Lord Jesus!

But no, Jesus did take upon Himself a 'ten-fingered flesh and blood' human nature with His own eternal person forevermore.

Jesus was able to enter locked rooms (Jn. 20:19), disappear from sight (Lk. 24:31), appear in a “different form” (Mk. 16:12), and ...
Jesus has a physical body in heaven, but it is different than the bodies we have now on earth. It is important that we understand that Jesus was born a human, had a human body like ours, and was killed. He was buried and then, three days later, physically rose from the dead. Many people saw Him alive—more than 500 people (1 Corinthians 15:3–6).
Sep 7, 2013 · Real Physical Body. After His resurrection, Jesus had a real body for He said to the disciples, Luke 24:39: “Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.”. Jesus first offered sensory evidence of three kinds in order to convince the disciples that He was a ...

God Is Spirit. ‘God is spirit.’. John 4:24. How anyone can claim that God has a physical body is beyond me, especially in light of what Jesus Himself declared to the woman at the well, He openly tells her, ‘God is spirit’, John 4:24. Those who sincerely believe that God has a physical body usually tell us that it’s our understanding ...
