Sep 15, 2019 · Jesus is emphatic that He is not a spirit, and in both accounts, He invites His disciples to touch His body and know that He is a flesh and blood human being. Jesus is explicit about His flesh-and-blood nature when He says, “A Spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.”
If we take it as a given that His resurrected body was the same as His earthly body, then no, that was not the same "body" that He has now. According to 1 Cor. 15 He would now be in a "spiritual body", which would be different than a "natural body" (i.e. of flesh and blood.) All else is speculation. – Jas 3.1.
Dec 28, 2020 · Jesus explicitly claims to have flesh and bones. He also has form, including hands, feet, side, etc. Now what about the apparent conflict between 1 Cor 15:50 (“flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s kingdom”) and Luke 24:39 (“flesh and bones as you see that I have”)?
Jesus clearly said a spirit or a ghost does not have flesh and bones. God, therefore, being a spirit, does not have a physical form like humans. In fact, God has no material form or physical limitations at all.

May 26, 2004 · In Luke 24:39 Jesus stated: “Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” Jesus expected His disciples to observe His physical body. Later in the same chapter, we read that Jesus ate a meal with His disciples (24:42-43; cf. Acts 10:41).
