Aug 20, 2021 · I was hoping players had found a 100% reliable way to connect to a friend by now. But I guess it'll just take a couple tries. Another good resource is the Journey Discord server. Have you tried asking there? As far as I know, there is no 100% reliable method, but the ones in the wiki work very well.
