The real issue though is monetization. Kongregate could slap some ads on the page, and I'd get my 10 cents of revenue from my dumb little game. But it's hard to make money on itchio, especially with browser games. I've gotten a few donations, but those were all from my downloadable games, and itchio discourages ads.
