you cant use both, but i prefer Modloader Pro bc it A, gives you more fps and B, more mods are usually using MLP because of those. Mod Loader Pro, to my knowledge, was a fork of MSCLoader (the first mod loader for the game, to my knowledge) that briefly popped up last year for about three months. It's abandoned now and has not received any updates for over a year (while MSCLoader is still active), so you should avoid using it; this makes it kind of complicated since a few devs developed some Pro-exclusive mods.

Modloader Pro was made to be a more optimalized and user-friendly version of regular Modloader, that's why many mods weren't compatible with both Modloaders, the Pro was just programmed a lot differently.
