Nov 21, 2019 · Here is what you need to do to enable the Shared Start Page feature in the Opera web browser: Load opera://flags in the browser's address bar. The page that opens lists all available experiments. Search for Shared Start Page using the search form at the top. Set the status of the Shared Start Page experiment to enabled.
To sync open tabs: Create an Opera account. Sign in to your Opera browsers. Click the Tabs button at the bottom of the start page. Your devices appear on the sidebar. To see what tabs you have open on a device, click the device’s name. Click an entry in the list of tabs to open the page.
Jan 14, 2024 · I have just noticed, that despite changing default search engine in Opera browser settings, on the start page (opera://startpageshared) it still uses Google. I presume this is the case for many versions of Opera, and would like for this to be updated please.

Click the drop-down arrow next to Set which search engine is used when searching from the combined search and address bar to select the search engine that will be used when you type in the address bar. Click the arrow next to Manage search engines. Select a new default search engine from the list.
