Now the newer versions of Opera browser come with a new feature called “Shared Start Page” which improves loading time of Start Page and makes the Start Page loading instantly on screen.

Nov 21, 2019 · Recent versions of Opera, including the latest Stable versions, support it already. The feature, called Shared Start Page, is not enabled by default in the browser at the time of writing. Opera users may enable it in the browser to speed up the loading.

To add an entry: 1. Click the empty entry marked with a +. 2. Select from the list of suggested pages, or type a web address (for example opera.com/). 3. Press Enter. To open an entry, click on the entry’s thumbnail.
To name or edit the web address of an entry: 1. Right-click (Ctrl+click on Mac) the entry’s thumbnail. 2. Select Edit. 3. Change the name and/or address using the text fields. 4. Click OK. To rearrange the position of entries, drag and drop the thumbnails to your desired location. To remove an entry, right-click the entry and click Move to trash.
To create a folder of Speed Dial entries, drag one entry onto another. Click the newly created folder to expand it and view the entries it contains. Feb 17, 2018 · With the latest update (51.0.2830.34 for Windows 10 64 bit), Opera opens the start page with selection in the "Favorites Bar" folder, instead of "All bookmarks". In the settings, the start page remained the same as before: "chrome://startpage/bookmarks"
