Oct 24, 2017 · The Nittany Lion shrine sits on West Campus, near Rec Hall in 2004. Thomas King, 19, from Lynchburg, Virginia, was at the shrine to show his friend the Lion. Though King doesn’t attend Penn State, he wanted to enjoy the view by the Lion rather than capture it in a picture. He thinks that the Lion’s legacy extends well beyond a momentary photo.
