Nope. Not many of the original developers are still in Piranha Bytes, and it is clear that their design philosophy has changed a lot since Gothic games or the first Risen. First Risen was the last decent game they made, and after that Pankratz started to meddle in the production more which we can see in Risen 2. The rest is history.
