Is this the fault of OC Transpo? Metrolinx does not run/manage OC Transpo, just Presto itself. It would be much easier to implement the change on a transit network they have jurisdiction over.

In that case yes, transfers to STO do not work with that system (not sure if it works OC-to-OC) But yes, you can start a trip with a Presto card and transfer to STO with the same card no problem. Same thing in reverse, you can start an STO trip with an STO card and transfer to OC.

Keep in mind that because Para Transpo trips must be booked 90 minutes apart, most normal trips will not qualify for a transfer.
