   Dec 27, 2023 · As far as I know, RCSS in BC doesn’t offer rain checks but if you find some decent staff they’ll go in the back and check if there’s stock in there. No Frills offers rain checks now but their policy is restrictive. Safeway has a good rain check policy too, 30 days with option to extend once if there’s been delays with shipments of the item.

   523 (100%) I've gotten rain cheques at Zehrs, RCSS, SDM, Sobeys, Zellers and Walmart, all for items in the flyer. I know that Food Basics doesn't give rain cheques, it's on their web site. I would assume Price Chopper doesn't give rain cheques either.

   • i believe Sobey's give rainchecks. Rcss east gives rain checks for items sold out... Loblaws gives them out too and if you specify the maximum limit allowed. Had no idea stores still gave rain checks since Bi way closed down. I think Canadiantire still give discretionary rainchecks.

   • Had no idea stores still gave rain checks since Bi way closed down. I think Canadiantire still give discretionary rainchecks. Asian stores and some budget stores like Food Basics, No Frills and Freshco put on their flyers while stocks last for certain items. Not a grocery store, but Princess Auto gives rainchecks. Nope.

   • Like um what thats the whole point of rain checks, is to get a discounted price coupon for when the item does eventually restock. Or sometimes they make up arbitrary and on the spot ridiculous rules about how many items you can price match. The rule was always a limit of 4. 4 packs of ground beef, 4 packs of toilet paper etc.

   • Walmart doesn't issue rain checks for limited-time flyer items. Zellers, London Drugs, Price Smart Foods...they do issue. Sobeys gives rainchecks. Can you get rainchecks for produce? Every time I want to get tomato at RCSS they are always out - I seriously suspect they do not put them out.
