All undergraduate students seeking admission are automatically considered for Rensselaer merit based awards. No separate application is required. International students seeking admission are limited to our Rensselaer Medal Award, Transfer Scholarships, or Division I athletic scholarships.

Standardized Test Requirements
1. SAT with writing or ACT with writing 2. SAT Subject Tests in Math (level 1C or 2C) and Science (biology, chemistry, or physics) for accelerated program applicants only (or ACT in lieu of SAT and SAT Subject Tests). 3. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) (international applicants only). Applicants must have a minimum score of 570 on the paper-based test (PBT), a minimum score of 230 on the computer-based test (CBT), or a minimum of 86 on the internet-based test (iBT).
