It lacks from something that all sims 4 lacks, a bit of danger and so... but i added it with mods. So my advise is if you're struggling with it for so long, just buy it. You like the theme and it's a great pack.
What makes the gameplay in the pack unique is that it has actual consequences. There's a celebrity perk and quirk system, where the quirks are automatically assigned based on things your sim does. So if your celebrity drinks a lot of juice, you can end up with an alcoholic. You can get stalkers.
