13525. Ricktor's diary (7) is a diary found in the Grand Library in Arceuus. Professor Gracklebone, Sam, and Villia may ask the player to find this diary for them, in which their location is random and changes every 80-100 minutes. Upon handing in the diary to the player's customer, a book of arcane knowledge is rewarded.
Steklan Ricktor is the writer of Ricktor's diary (7), and presumably the first six volumes of the diary too, and possibly more after that. Only the seventh volume exists in-game currently, and it details Steklan's expedition to study the Dark Altar during a particularly harsh winter.

Ricktor's diary (7) is a book found in the Arceuus House Library in Great Kourend. Customers in the library may ask the player to provide the book for them, after which the player is rewarded with 2.5% Arceuus House favour and a book of arcane knowledge. The location of the book is random, and changes every 80-100 minutes.
If the book is dropped inside the Library, it will disappear. This is most likely to prevent the player from obtaining multiple copies in order to gain favour quicker by having the book readily available after a customer asks for it.
1st
A grim morn as the frosts landed early this year; a surprise as it has been late these last three years. I met with Magister Sattayas who in discourse conveyed my request to Lord Arceuus XV to investigate the Dark Altar further.
I retired to Madam Turner's on the great concourse for mutton pit and drank to the health of the new King.
With Messrs. Stalae and Frayn I planned the first visit to the Dark Altar; due to take place on the morrow, with the utmost care due to the reputation it had received.
2nd
A fair day in regards to the content rather than the weather. The rain did beat down heavily and seemed to only increase as we approached the Dark Altar. Unperturbed we continued and felt the better for our persistence the closer we got to the altar.
When in the Arceuus House Library, I must find a book for the professor titled "Ricktor's diary (7)". Also worth mentioning that I use RuneLite and it shows where the books are located but when I find the " Transportation incantations", or " Ricktor's diary (7) " I search the bookcase and get the chatbox message "You don't find anything useful here".
7th. The wind continues to blow such a force tainted with biting snow these last seven days. I have not known such a tumultuous condition in all my memory. Nevertheless I was determined to continue my work at the Dark Altar however the King has shut the gates in order to have a day of thanks for our good health.
