I have also tried with and without most plug-ins to determine that the whip issue is just because of the patcher if you patch the exe with no plug-ins it still doesn't let you whip. Long reach for crafting would work intermittently for me. Tldr this just needs an update no rush tho. K.
Jul 10, 2015 · Much/most/all of which was likely invalidated by a tModLoader update. Given how tModLoader absolutely and thoroughly dominates the Terraria modding market, and how incredibly unpopular traditional patchers are these days, it's tough to say if it would really be worth it to spend another huge swath of unpaid time on such a project.

Sep 23, 2024 · If your server was originally on the Vanilla version of Terraria, and then you used SteamCMD to install tModLoader, then you very likely have a mixture of both vanilla and tModLoader files. The way you can tell is if, in the main directory of your Server Files, you see the Terraria.exe file mixed in with these tModLoader files.
When hosting a server, the mods will be exactly the same as the tModLoader client - so make sure you've selected and loaded the mods in the regular tModLoader client before starting the server .exe file, or you may have a few issues. If you're unsure, when the server starts, it will show up which mods have been loaded.
