Aug 6, 2019 · I believe they weigh 4.5 lbs ea @ 0.8” thick. Comparatively, the AR500 plates are 8.3 lbs each and cost $200 ea without any sort of bundle. I’ll tell you right now if you have no experience running armor, weight sucks. My rig is 20 lbs without water on me, I would not like to add another 8 lbs unnecessarily.
