The Buick Apollo is a compact car that was manufactured from 1973 to 1975 by General Motors for its Buick division. It was based on the GM X platform along with the Oldsmobile Omega, Chevrolet Nova, and the Pontiac Ventura. The car was named for the Greek god Apollo.

Mar 5, 2024 · I thought the ultimate ignominy for Buick and Pontiac at the end of “box” B-body wagon production was forcing all of them to use the Olds 307 V8 with E-QudraJet. Low power, slow reving, and stuck with a carburetor when the list of vehicles that still used one was getting very short.
