The Nike Zoom Superfly Elite is made to be used for indoor track races. This is evidenced by the outsole's design. Underfoot there's a metal spike plate with eight permanent spikes that are 6.35mm in length. The spikes are meant to dig into the track surface and help runners move forward using less energy.

- Nike Superfly Elite Review Conclusion
Since Nike moved to the webbed design for their spike plate, it’s one of the first things which jumps out at you. It is an ingenious design allowing like to add zonal strength and flexibility and specific points of the spike plate, by adjusting the size of the holes. With this design, Nike has managed to create a sprint spikewhich is not only comfo...
The upper is built with the Nikes Flyleaves technology, which produces a synthetic material which is ultra-breathable, Very thin, But moulds around the foot to provide a supportive locked-in feeling. This is especially important when running flat out round the bend or curve, as your feet do not move around, Which is a very unsettling feeling if the...
At only 5.3 ounces, It’s one of the lightest pairs of spikes on the market. Which is quite remarkable considering the support and rigidness you get from the shoe itself. As a sprinter you always going to want a pair of spikes which are very light, So they don’t hold you back during any part of the race—but usually having something light and support...
One thing I like about the Nike Superfly elite spikes is that they are an all-round performer. What I mean by this is you can wear them from 60m up to 400m, Including the hurdle races. They are one of the most comfortable pairs of sprint spikes I’ve ever worn. I find it very tricky for me to find a comfortable pair of spikes because I have quite na...

I have a bunch of comments up about training, feel free to look through that. As for the spikes, the sessions that I use my superflys for are Speed development (Sprinting between 85%-100% 30m flys, 120s, etc) 400 pace work Low volume 800 workouts (ex. 4x400 at 800RP) Things that I use dragonflys for: Mile pace work (ex. 3x4x400)
The Jas and the Superflys use the same plate, but the Superflys seem to be harder to find and are a touch more expensive. However if you can get your hands on them and afford the extra 25 bucks, it seems like a no-brainer to pick the Superflys over the Jas. As with the other poster, I find the Zoom 400 plate less aggressive.
Jun 5, 2024 · Overview. Nike Zoom Superfly Elite 2 review: We think the Nike Zoom Superfly Elite 2 is a top choice for advanced track sprinters looking for a high-quality spike that ensures direct contact with the track, as it offers minimal cushioning. We really appreciated the Atomknit upper and its snug feel—though it might not suit those with wider feet.
