Midsole: 8/10 They don't have a midsole. If you aren't running sub 1:59/sub 57 they may get uncomfortable (i am in 1:58 shape rn). The lack of any cushioning besides a somewhat thick insole encourages a very forefoot strike, as does the plate. If you are a heel striker in training, this may not be for you.

We really appreciated the Atomknit upper and its snug feel—though it might not suit those with wider feet.

When you're running 100m, there's not much of a need to have a lot of padding underfoot and the Nike Zoom Superfly Elite doesn't add on unnecessary cushioning to bring up the overall weight of the shoe.
