   Jul 14, 2015 · At least with the Twonky media server, Blu-rays ripped to MP4 files exhibit discontinuous panning scenes. When ripped to MKV files they do not. Additionally, DVDs ripped to MKV files do not stream well to my TVs as well as the same DVDs ripped to MP4 format. I don’t know if this is a general phenomenon or one limited to my system and equipment.
