Your Guide to UGA's Pollinator Gardens!
Dec 14, 2023 · Through out the year, the garden hosts festivals for each season – including a light display for the holidays and a “blooms” event to kick off Spring. Over 7,600 Huntsville households are paid “members” of the botanical garden. One of the most popular gardens lets visitors take a “DIY” crash course on how to grow and use herbs.
Named a birding hotspot by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and National Audubon Society, the Garden is home to a large diversity of both local and migrating birds. Along the Lewis Birding Trail, birders can seek out and observe bird species in their natural habitats. Materials can be provided for a self-guided tour, or guided birding tours are offered subject to availability and advance request.
Your membership with the Garden will provide you special admission prices and other discounts when visiting the 350+ gardens currently participating in the program. Most gardens ask that you simply show your Huntsville Botanical Garden membership card, but be sure to check with each garden about their requirements before visiting.
