   How long has the Uri hockey program been winning?

   • The URI hockey program has had a long and storied history of winning since its inception in 1950. The program regained momentum in the 1975-76 season under Professor Connie Hill. In the 1980-81 and 1980-82 seasons, Jim Mccarthy led the team to two winning seasons. Coach Tom Macari then arrived as the new coach in the 1982-83 season.
