In 2020 Chuck will be touring across Canada with The Legendary Downchild Blues Band as they continue to celebrate the band’s 50th Anniversary. Chuck is also part of the highly regarded Lance Anderson tributes to The Last Waltz – A Musical Celebration of The Band and Mad Dogs and Englishmen – The Music of Joe Cocker and Leon Russell.
The initial band membership was Donnie "Mr. Downchild" Walsh, who remains the sole constant band member, with younger brother Rick "Hock" Walsh on vocals, accompanied by Dave Woodward, Cash Wall, John Tanti, and Jim Milne.
Roaring through bracing, high-octane performances since 1969, the band founded and continuously steered by harmonica and guitar ace Donnie “Mr. Downchild” Walsh is as vibrant today as when Dan Aykroyd and the late John Belushi went sniffing around for inspiration for their brilliant Blues Brothers venture back in the 1970s.
