Jan 21, 2018 · Formed from the ashes of The Downliners, whose original members included Don Craine (real name: Mick O’Donnell), the original line-up below is from July 1963. Keith Grant – lead vocals/bass. Don Craine – rhythm guitar/autoharp/lead vocals. Terry Gibson – lead guitar. Johnny Sutton – drums.
That kind of thing happened a lot in those days. Mr bossman refunded my £20 for the Sect LP so we were all happy in the end. TLDR - I got this Downliners Sect free as part of a weird-bad-deal-gone-right in the 90s.
